Hippo Manager's Checkout screen allows you to build invoices and collect payments. For more information about the Checkout screen, check out Checkout: Register Breakdown.
Once you have collected an owner's payment and completed the invoice, the system will automatically generate a new invoice which will be displayed on the Invoices screen.
Example:
The open invoice is created in preparation, should an additional invoice for that patient be needed on that same day.
Important Note: At the end of each working day, if the auto-generated invoice does not have any items or services tied to it, the system will automatically remove that invoice from the owner's record. While that automatic $0.00 invoice is present for the remainder of that business day, it does not impact any financial reporting.
Helpful Tip
This is a temporary system workflow until the remaining areas of the system have been upgraded to the newest infrastructure in the coming months.
