Hippo Manager has a default list of Species, Breeds, Colors, Markings, and Genders options. Your practice has the ability to modify these lists through the Administration screen.
Important Note: You will need Super User access to view this feature. For more information on user access levels, check out Administration: Assigning User Access Levels.
Modifying the Patient Gender List:
The options from within this list are visible on the Add Patient screen when creating a new patient account, and also the Patient Info widget for patient alterations.
1. Select the Administration tab along the left side of the screen, and then select the Gender widget.
2. To modify or remove existing entries, locate the marking within the list and select either Edit or Delete. To create a new marking entry, select Create New Gender in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Type the new gender entry into the Gender Name text field. Next, select the related species from within the Species dropdown.
4. Select whether this gender entry is related to a male or female patient in the Sex dropdown, and then select Save Gender when finished.
