Hippo Manager offers integration with Clearent terminals to support and streamline payment capture and end-of-day reconciliation. If you find that your terminal's connection is not behaving as expected with your Hippo Manager platform to capture payments, please review the following tips:
Once the terminal is online, you will need to have a Hippo Manager support team member activate the integration. For more information, check out Integrations: Clearent Payment Processing.
Check the Connection
The terminal should read "POS Online" if properly connected to power. If the terminal does not say POS Online, it's recommended to check your connection and make sure all wires are securely plugged into the appropriate power source.
If this does not solve the issue, it's recommended to reach out to Clearent's technical support team for further guidance.
If your terminal is activated and reads "POS Online" but Hippo Manager does not transfer activity to the terminal for payment capture, it's recommended to reach out to Hippo Manager's Support team for further guidance. Contact: Customer Support.
