Chart templates are designed to save a user documentation time during appointments. Templates will include or exclude Dynamic Tags which appear in the examples below.
Dynamic Tags are available on the Fill-In-The-Blank Chart Template, and for more information on Hippo Manager's other available template types, check out Choose Action: Using Chart Templates.
Dynamic Tag (Text)
Text Dynamic Tag: A Text tag functions as a placeholder where you can enter text, numbers, or a combination of both.
Pro Tip: You can even customize the actual text within brackets to guide the user on what information they should be captured in those fields.
Dynamic Tag (Date)
Date Dynamic Tag: A Date tag allows you to type or choose a date on the calendar.
Pro Tip: This is a helpful tag if you are capturing when a patient was adopted, or medications were given.
Dynamic Tag (Number)
Number Dynamic Tag: A Number tag functions as a placeholder where you can enter numbers only.
Important Note: If the prompt requires a decimal or partial number, it's recommended to use the Text, Dynamic Tag, instead.
Dynamic Tag (Scheduler Reminder)
Scheduler Reminder: The Scheduler Reminder tag allows custom reminders to be added to the patient record directly from the Chart Note.
Pro Tip: This Dynamic Tag is great for recording reminders relating to follow-up appointments, or post-surgery follow-up.
Dynamic Tag (Add ToDo List Item)
Add To-Do List Item: The Add To-Do List Item tag allows a task to be assigned to another user through the Chart Note directly.
Important Note: It's recommended to include the Patient's Name and ID Number in the Title field to help the assigned user identify which record the To-Do List task is related to. (See Image Below).
Pro Tip: This Dynamic Tag is great for Veterinarians to help with internal reminders relating to things like bloodwork reviews, owner callbacks, and post-surgery check in's.
