Below is a list of the questions brought forward in the chat during the Hippo Manager 2.0 preview from 5/26/2021.
Can you print a label for meds from the check out screen?
Where is the weight located on the main screen?
It is located in the Patient Reserve that will now live on the left hand side of the screen.
Will the invoice save even if you don't have a rabies tag number in?
Can we edit the weight from the patient reserve?
Not available in the first release of 2.0 but has been logged as a future enhancement request.
Can we print RX labels from the invoice screen?
Does the weight automatically update as soon as it is entered? Or does it still reflect last weight?
It will reflect the new weight once entered through a chart note.
Can you still email invoices?
Anything new with discounting individual line items or entire invoices?
The first release in Hippo Manager 2.0 lays the groundwork for percentage based discounts to be able to be applied at the invoice level in a future release.
Are we able to print from custom forms from the iPad?
Yes, Hippo will support that so long as your printer supports that connection.
Can Item Kits be added to all locations at once to prevent duplicate work?
Are the rounding issues resolved on the controlled substance log?
The rounding issue will be corrected for all values going forward.
Can we add Item Kits to Chart Templates?
Are you able to check out multiple patients at a time?
The process will be slightly different, but you will be able to apply payment to multiple patients in a streamlined fashion.
Will new provider types be added, such as reception and assistant? I'd like my staff to be able to sign their own notes.
These are definitely logged in the development pipeline. We would currently recommend that you choose the "closest" provider type, as those are not customer facing in any capacity, which will give you this functionality.
Could you explain the "Clearent payment? I'm new and just learning the software.
When you turn on the Clearent integration, you would see just a credit card payment type option that activates the terminal, allowing you to collect the necessary information through their hardware.
Are there any changes in terms of vaccination certificates? What they will look like/how they will display? Will reminders still be available at the bottom of certificates or just the invoice?
No changes will be made to the specific layout, but additional reminders will be included on the invoice. Right now the certificate shows the most recent 5 reminders due, but on the invoice it will show all reminders due.
Right now, you can't tell from the checkout screen if something is an invoice or estimate. Will there be a clear difference between the two in the update?
There should be a header on the screen as well as a checkbox that notifies you when you are in an estimate rather than an invoice.
Are there any changes being made in terms of viewing the patient's charts while in progress?
This section is not in the first release of 2.0, but it is an area of focus for future enhancements.
Will there be a time when not all chart note options have vitals?
This has been logged as an enhancement request.
When in June is 2.0 expected to launch?
We are going through the final components of QA, and we anticipate the release in June but have not established a set date yet. You will receive notice prior to launch.
Having an online chat support option would be awesome. Sometimes the email route takes too long with a time sensitive question.
We are exploring options for this functionality.
Any chance of getting different fonts in chart notes?
We are scoping this out for a future release centered on chart notes.
