The checklist below outlines the recommended steps to take when using the Whiteboard feature to track appointment progress within your practice.
Check the Patient In
In order to use the Whiteboard feature to track a patient's appointment progress, you will need to first check them into the system upon arrival.
Using the Whiteboard
To view a patient's appointment progress on the Whiteboard after check-in, select the Whiteboard icon, or quick link from the Choose Action, Patient Dashboard, or Scheduler page. In addition to status updates, the Whiteboard also offers electronic Treatment Sheets to assist with the completion of treatments or procedures on a schedule, chart documentation, and charge capture on the patient invoice.
Check the Patient Out
Once the appointment is finished, you will need to remove the patient from the Whiteboard list.
