Hippo Manager's offers many features that empower you to conveniently track inventory usage and maintain your desired on-hand quantity of items in your practice. The checklist below outlines the recommended steps for using Hippo Manager to manage your inventory.
Customizing Inventory Menus
First, you will need to customize your list of Suppliers/Manufacturers, Categories, and Taxes. These lists are then available to choose from on the Items and Services page when you are creating an Item or Service code.

Inputting Inventory Codes
First, you will need to input Item and/or Service codes into your system. Once saved, Items can then be Received into your system and be available for invoicing.

Performing Receiving Entries
Next, you will need to perform receiving entries to record quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates. Check out the following articles:

Invoicing Clients
After you've added inventory codes and performed receiving entries as needed, the items and services are then available to invoice on the Checkout page.

Using Inventory Reports to Track Usage
When clients are invoiced, associated inventory quantities will be depleted automatically and usage will be recorded in a variety of Financial and Inventory Reports. To assist with reconciling or tracking inventory usage, check out Reports: Inventory.
