1. Select Checkout from the menu along the left side of the screen.
2. Select the appropriate Chart Note and Provider from the available dropdowns. Next, in the Item field type/select the Rabies Vaccine or Kit code from the drop-down list. Then enter a quantity and Date Administered in the corresponding fields, and select the Add Item button.
3. You will then be redirected to the patient's main vaccinations page to enter vaccination details. Type a Rabies Tag Number as it should display in the certificate into the Tag Number text field. Once the information has been entered in all appropriate fields, select Save Item to return to the patient's invoice.
4. The system will return to the patient's main vaccinations page, where you can print the certificate. For more information about the certificate, check out Choose Action: Vaccination Certificate Breakdown.
5. If you need to invoice additional vaccines, you can remain on the patient's vaccinations page and select the Add Vaccinations button in the upper right corner. Then fill in the related fields accordingly. Alternatively, you continue building the patient's invoice with non-vaccine items and services by selecting the Checkout option in the main menu on the left side of the screen.
Invoicing a Non-Rabies Vaccine
