Vaccines can be added to a patient's record in a variety of ways that include chart note templates, and the vaccine widget. This article will explain how to create a vaccine record from the Patient Dashboard and print a certificate.
Generating Vaccine Certificates From The Choose Action Screen:
1. Ensure that the appropriate patient is listed in the Patient Reserve, then click the Vaccines widget.
2. In the upper right corner of the screen, click Add Vaccination and ensure that all dropdowns have the appropriate selections as they should appear on the certificate. Then click Save Item.
3. Next to the vaccine line you need to print, click the Printer button. Alternatively, if you wish to print all vaccine records, click Vaccination Report.
4. If you wish to email a certificate or list of certificates, follow step 2, then click the download arrow in the upper right corner of the screen to save it on your device and attach it through your practice email.
Generating Vaccine Certificates from the Patient Tab:
1. Ensure that the appropriate patient is listed in the Patient Reserve, then click the Patient tab.
2. Within the Vaccine History widget or quick link, click the Plus Sign in the upper right corner to log a new vaccine.
3. Ensure that all dropdowns have the appropriate selections as they should appear on the certificate. Then click Save Item.
4. After you've saved the vaccine, you'll be directed to the Sales Register automatically. If you need to print or email a certificate, return to the Vaccine History widget or quick link in the Patient tab.
5. Click the vaccine entry line once to highlight in green, then click the printer icon in the lower right corner of the widget. Alternatively, if you wish to print all, click the printer+ to print a Vaccine History report.
5. If you wish to email a certificate or list of certificates, follow step 5. Then click the download arrow in the upper right corner of the screen to save and attach through your practice email.
