Invoices Tab Additional Features
List Invoice Items: This produces a list view of invoice items with a status of open, completed, or estimates available for a patient or patients associated with a specific owner. This offers a convenient view of the invoice items without having to change active invoices to view in the Checkout tab, especially for multi-patient visits! Print Client Statement: This produces a statement view of open invoices for a patient or patients associated with a specific owner. For more information, check out Invoices: Generating One Owner or Multi-Owner Billing Statements
Bulk Add Item: This feature allows you to add an invoice item to multiple patient accounts at once, which is especially helpful for multi-patient visits! For more information check out Invoices: Bulk Add Item (One Item/Service Applied to Multiple Invoices).
Bulk Add Payment: This feature allows you to apply a payment to multiple patient accounts at once, which is especially helpful for multi-patient visits! For more information check out Invoices: Bulk Add Payment (One Payment Applied to Multiple Invoices).
Invoices Tab Filters
Owner Name: This allows you to narrow the list of invoices by owner name.
Patient Name: This allows you to filter the patients displayed in the list of invoices in the Invoice Management section below.
Status: This allows you to filter your list of invoices by Open, Completed, Estimate, or Voided status.
- Pro Tip: To view All Invoices regardless of their status, simply select the (x) icon to the right of the field.
Results Per Page: This allows you to expand the number of results per page.
All Patients Toggle: This toggle displays all invoices for all patients in the system for your individual practice location. The filter options below allow you to narrow that list by the desired criteria.
All Locations Toggle: This toggle displays all of a patient's invoices for all of your practice locations. For more information about this toggle, check out Invoices: Available Invoices Across Practice Locations. The filter options below will allow you to narrow that list by the desired criteria.
Invoice Management
This section will display all open, completed, or estimates that have been created for patients linked to a specific owner. The list is dependent on the filters selected above.
Print: This will print an owner copy of the open, completed, or estimated invoice depending on the status selected in the filter section.
Set Active: This button sets the invoice as active in the Sales Register (on the Checkout page). If a patient has multiple open invoices, click the Set Active button in blue to change the active invoice, and that newly- assigned active invoice will display in the Checkout tab. Reopen: This button re-opens a completed invoice. Important Note: This button will remain greyed out until the Status "Completed" is selected in the filters toward the top of the page.
Complete Invoice: This button completes and closes an existing open invoice. Important Note: This button will remain greyed out until the invoice has received payment resulting in a $0.00 balance.
Switch to Patient: This button takes you directly to that patient's profile.
