For external email communications to your clients, such as receipts, it's important to properly set up a practice email.
Configuring a Practice's Email for the First Time
1. Select the Administration tab, and then select the Configuration widget.
2. Within the location list towards the center of the screen, select the Location Name once to highlight it in green. If you have one location, this will be done automatically.
3. Once the location is selected, within the location information below, find the field that says Location Email, add the practice's email address, and then select Apply in the lower left corner of the screen to save changes.
Important Note: An email will be sent to this newly entered practice email address immediately. You will need to follow those email instructions to finalize the setup.
- If the email that's used falls under a private domain (Example: staff@animalcovevet.com) then you will receive a verification email that's been outlined in the Important Note above.
- If the email that's used falls under a public domain (Example: staff@gmail, yahoo, AOL, etc) then the system will automatically verify your email, and you will not need to proceed with the Important Note above.
Reconfiguring a Practice Email That's Already Been Setup
